My understanding was the the Beelogic/Monsanto product was and iRNA. Is this the same as dsRNA?

I would guess if someone want the full blown story they could ask Jerry Hayes to comment since he headed up the project.  To my very limited understanding the research project involving iRNA was terminated when Bayer bought out Monsanto.
