Could you please clarify something for me Dick?
If a particular mitochondrial snip is completely absent from commercial
stock, but found in a wild-living colony, wouldn't that be strong evidence
that that wild-living colony was not a recent descendent of commercial
stock?
I'm not talking about functionality of the genome, but only for tracking
the mother line.
