Actually, the critter in the video appears to be a vole (Microtus ssp.) of which there are MANY species of various size. Note the short tail and ears....
AFAIK, our common "hive infesting" mice are feral house mice (Mus musculus) and white-footed/deer mice (Peromyscus ssp).
Of course, then we have the shrews of which there are a few genera and several species....some of those are VERY small.
