I go further still.

As I mentioned in the " efficacy of mite treatments" thread, the mere appearance of several flight days in late fall (and it was "late fall" in the mid-Atlantic US until just this week) prompts me to drag out the vaporizer and respirator due to possible robbing alone.  Since varroa became ubiquitous, I have intoned "The Price Of Honey Is Eternal Vigilance".
