I'm not a chemist and I could be wrong but as I recall Bee venom is Acidic while Wasp family venoms are Alkaline.



If true, then it makes sense to me that the human body can counteract Bee venom with alkalines in our bodies while counteracting an alkaline wasp family venom is a bit harder as I don't think we produce acids in locations where we might be stung...
