>I feel I have lost a friend I never met in person. Condolences to all who
knew and loved him.

Me too. I had a couple of off-list exchanges with him and always found him to be a true gentleman. The last contact now seems to be particularly poignant as it was in mid-December. I posted regarding e-mail responses that I was getting about my message being rejected due to a full mail box. It came from an Italian (I think mail monitoring service). Aaron came back to say that he had spent an hour trying to solve it, but to no avail and he was giving up. However, a little later - perhaps it was the next day - he e-mailed to say that he had traced it to a subscriber to the list who was obviously not bothering to check his Inbox. He was less than complimentary about that person and had delisted him. His final comment was that he had wasted four hours because of that person - and that was just a couple of weeks before he died.

Best wishes
