Hi Floyd & All

I read your post with interest & was pleased that you used Planting Zone to identify your location.  I’m sure that the Zone map that I am looking at has changed since Readers Digest produced it in 1979 but the only zone 8 in Canada is a thin strip of the British Columbia coast including around the coast of Vancouver Island.  We live in Zone 5 near Zone 6.  If others responding to this thread could also include the Zone of their location, it would be very helpful.
