I agree with Scott on this.  Although I occasionally observe an obviously
virus-immune colony, I'm focusing my breeding efforts upon colonies that
keep varroa under control (selecting for varroa resistance rather than
tolerance).  Such colonies thrive in my area without needing other inputs.
