My dear mother couldn't tell you the difference between an ignition coil
and a valve spring-- what was under the hood was a "black box" to her.  Yet
cars started up like magic (to her) when she turned the key, and got her
where she needed to go.  The vast majority of our population has no idea of
the reasons that most daily occurrences happen.  We scientists are driven
by curiosity to find out; the rest of the population is content to just
accept the magic that this or that somehow works.

Most TF beekeepers couldn't follow the Scientific Method if they had to.
But neither does the process of evolution.  There's more than one way to
get to the same end result.
