3 Rules of Beekeeping
1. Never take your veil off for just one bee. (From Anita Collins when we
were working on AHB in TX)
2. Pee before putting you start working your bees. (we often wore two full
suits then).
3. Learn to work without gloves at least sometimes.
I'd add another for beginners:
4. Learn to evaluate your sources of information. (Stay away from Youtube,
Facebook, blogs as a rule unless you get there through a university,
extension, or bee lab site.
