Looking at the different seed catalogs I've noticed that there are multitudes of varieties of sunflowers available.  However, I think I remember mention being made that some varieties do NOT provide viable pollen for use by our bees.
Is there a way to determine which varieties do provide valuable pollen?  Is there a list of varieties known to bee beneficial for honeybees?
