One year when I planted buckwheat on my ten acre to produce my favorite Axle Grease honey, I saw my bees observe the clockwork. As we all know, bees work the bloom only in the morning as the plant refuses to open up the nectar valve in the afternoon, a simple yet elegant observation on their sense of time.
