I after many years of keeping bees, I got tired of dressing up all the time to go into my hives.
I just used less and less protection. Like others have said I did not get stung all the time.
But I did get stung. Since wanting to keep my immunity up, I would get a bee to sting me when I was finishing.
Once you know how a sting fills you know what to expect: about 30 seconds of pain.
I tried stinging myself and leaving the stinger in for awhile. Then I would do one and scrap it off right away.
I could notice no difference.
I know that when my hands can’t make a fist, it is time for a sting.
Works every time. If you have the bees, it sure is a cheap treatment.
