If someone reading this forum truly wants to help the bees, I can give you
a list of how to go about doing this:
1) Purchase the most swarmy queens from local beekeepers - specifically
ask for queens that have a high swarming tendency and ask to have those
queens bred specifically for purchase. Some beekeepers may just give you
these queens for free.
2) Install these queens in a location that you know results in honey
yields every year.
3) Feed, feed feed. Give them every incentive to constantly swarm.
4) (Make sure they're at nearly 0 mite counts before they swarm).
