Richard, if passive solar heat gain is what is making treatment free beekeeping possible in the South (and Czech researchers also found that heating the brood carefully does kill the mites in cells), what does that do to the future fertility of the drones pupating in high heat conditions? I take it drones raised lower in the hive would both survive and be fertile?
