Yes, I remember you recounting your experience. And it's not the only time workers and drones are heated to extremes under natural conditions. I've read that drones will fly with thorax temps of 52℃ which, I assume, heat the entire bee well above a critical level since they do not regurgitate cooling liquids as foragers do.
