"I find it hard to believe there not a prophylactic mating nuc dose"

The problem with 'prophylactic' doses is that it is EXACTLY this practice
(and misdiagnosis) the VFB rules aim to stop. It is the OVERUSE of
treatments, especially when done prophylactically that leads to resistance
to the medicine used.

If you don't have a diagnosed case of EFB, don't treat.
