Their criteria are a bit too inclusive, for example they seem to think it only happens in summer
In reality, it can happen in any season, the symptoms are a bit different each season
I have not lost 100 yet, over the 13 years, but close
For me, most are lost mid to late fall, most of the time typical dead brood is left
But it can happen in winter or spring, each with slightly different symptoms
For example, in spring you can see eggs, young (<1d) larva, eggs over a week (same frame), on several frames, hives
That is, larva died @ 1d old, cannibalized (reinfection?), eggs laid again
