>How do you propose disinfecting equipment exposed to Nosema C?

One way would be using cold temperature. It is known that Nosema ceranae is susceptible to cold but N. apis is not.

We here in Australia use cold to keep wax moth and small hive beetle out of stored equipment so inadvertently we would also be treating for N. ceranae.
