To me, debating DVM vs MD vs beekeeper is crying over spilt milk. The law
changed, deal with it.

>I agree.  I suspect we have arrived at this change due to the misuse and overuse of the product. Secondly, we have a vet school here (Texas A&M) and we have a number of vets who have taken up beekeeping. One would be making a mistake in underestimating their capacity to become good to excellent beekeeper in a very short period of time. Across the board interaction with these vets turned beekeepers for me has been extremely positive.
