I have been using pollen traps of a few of my colonies this spring and have
several trays of pollen, straight from the corbiculae, in the freezer
dehydrating and keeping as fresh as this approach permits.
My question to the list is on the intermediate-to-long term storage of this
pollen. What steps should need to be taken to maintain its value as a
protein source for feeding back as a component of protein patties. Freezer
space is not infinite...
