My point exactly! It's not the sting that kills you, it's an excessive
immune response.
Beekeepers who don't swell up are "acclimatized" to bee venom.
Those who suffer anaphylaxis are dealing with an immune system in
hyperdrive.
The question then is, what do we mean by the term "immunity" -- a lack of
swelling, or protection from anaphylaxis?
