<><><>   It's almost a non thinker for most of us, but for the newbees, remember when pulling frames to work from the edge inward and place a frame or two aside for the moment to provide more room to separate the rest of the frames as you pull them for inspection.  That almost always prevents rolling the queen.  Make sure the frame you are pulling is fully separated from the frame (s) on either side beefore extracting it from the hive box.
