A well respected (and well credentialed) local recently made the statement on FB in rearguards to a alcohol wash "If I complete the wash quickly and dump the bees in the sun in front of the hive, most will get up and walk back in"

I will fully admit I have always wrote them off as dead and tossed them aside with out observing the result, has any one seen recovery?
My knee jerk says BS.. but my knee jerk has been wrong in the past.
