My warming cabinet is an insulated tea chest with a soil warming cable zig -zagged at the base. The temperature is controlled by a thermostat.  There's a grid (from my cooker) above it to prevent direct heating of the honey bucket. The dimensions of the cabinet match those of the National hive so I can sit supers of honey on top to warm them for easy extraction.
I insert the sensor of a digital thermometer in the honey or the comb to monitor the temperature.  I aim for blood heat/fever pitch, never more than 105 degrees Fahrenheit.
Chris
