Hello Peter:
A University of Maryland Extension Bulletin 20Jun14L had an item about the Spotted Lantern Fly where "two fungal pathogens, Batkoa major and Beauveria bassiana, were found to cause a co-epizootic that led to the collapse of a localized outbreak of SLF".
Nature may be providing a solution to the Spotted Lantern Fly problem which might reduce the need for traps. Please check this link https://www.pnas.org/content/pnas/116/19/9178.full.pdf
