If all drains lead to the well, then it is probably not a well, but more
likely a cesspool/dry well or perhaps a cistern.  I have not seen wells
like that in basements or cellars, but I have seen cesspools and
cisterns, even privies.  I can send you a reference for a cesspool.  It was
under a house, but not in a basement.  Unfortunately the upper portions
were too disturbed and I could not find any evidence of the drains.   Other
than that, I would have to send you to someone else to get the copies of
the reports for the privies and cisterns found in cellars or basements.
