Hi
We're just winding up our 3-year research project on the Landscapes of the Great Depression in NE England [http://www.slumpscape.org/ ] based at Durham University, UK.
Although we've been able to identify a good range of comparative material (historical and archaeological), we're really keen to track down as much relevant work on the archaeology of the Great Depression as possible- including archaeological work on workcamps, but also wider considerations of the impact on the landscape.
So, if anyone has any unpublished research lurking in filing cabinets, as 'grey lit' reports or only published in obscure local journals, please could you share :-)
We're currently working on getting our own work disseminated (e.g. https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/rural-history/article/rural-rhetoric-in-1930s-unemployment-relief-schemes/8127B56D6A6C6442BA226D0B2B23B193) and more than happy to share our own reports/outputs
Many thanks
