HISTARCH has been and, hopefully, will be a landmark in archaeological
communication. It and Anita have served us well over the years and is a
vital link in the organization and dissemination of information to ALL of
us. The tireless and patient work of Anita in moderating it is worthy of of
the highest accolade we as archaeologists can give.

I propose that a permanent, private (not governmental) endowment for its
preservation be established with organizations like RPA, SHA, AIA, SAS,
ISAP, SAA and the state and local avocational societies be solicited to
join in to preserve this VITAL link that benefits ALL archaeologists.

Specifically, Claudia and I, personally, have found HISTARCH INVALUABLE in
organizing symposia and assisting struggling graduate students with
technical issues.

The work that Anita has done in resolving disputes and calming things down
on between parties is legendary.

Claudia and I are honored to have know Anita over the years and wish her
OUR best for the future.

WELL DONE! GOOD AND FAITHFUL!

 Sincerely,

Richard J. Lundin BA, MA, RPA, ISAP, AIPG
Director, Wondjina Research Institute
