So you all (Y’all) understand the extremes of anthropomorphism in our ‘Guru Dominated’ land, my favorite was a post several years ago coaching new beekeepers who were receiving, and deploying their new bees.

They were instructed that, among other things, if they used a Queen excluder, and the queen rose in the hive to confront this most heinous barrier, “the queen will hold a grudge, and will later swarm because of it.”

My beekeeping has still not recovered from receiving this particular insight.
