The presence of a factor is by no means an indication that it is causative of anything. Nosema could be a symptom of poor health brought upon by other factors. 

To make it simple, if your fingerprints are on the gun, that doesn't mean you are the murderer. It only means you handled the gun at some point. You need more evidence than that to make a case.
