Hi All
I have read in several publications, possibly also here on Bee-L, that some honey bees forage for pollen alone, while others only nectar. I personally don’t believe this but think that honeybees collect pollen on their body hairs while visiting blooms for nectar. I have seen bumbles rolling around inside a rose bloom and have assumed they are collecting pollen, but never a honeybee. Am I correct or is the opposite true.
