That's a pet peeve of mine too, Pete.
There are only two major castes in the honey bee -- the queen and the
workers.
The workers further subdivide into temporal subcastes, such as nurses, comb
builders, nectar processors, guards, soldiers, foragers, and diuntinus
"survivor mode"
