Here's the City of Mount Pearl's rationale for charging the exorbitant permitting fee.

<><><>   So, it would seem that it would cost $350 to have even one bee hive in the city of St. Pearl?   Is this in Minnesota or in Alberta?  I personally feel that is abhorrent.  Are there any regulations on any other animal husbandry pursuits, including pets?  If so, what are the administration costs for those?  Are these two fees a one time cost or is this a fee administrated every year?
