Good Afternoon all:
I have a fragment of a white clay pipestem decorated with two shields and labeled with "451" and "A. CRE" over "E. GALLARD." I believe this to have been made by Cretal-Gallard pipe manufacturers of Rennes, France, but can't confirm this. Does anyone know of a reference? Am I just blowing smoke with my guess?
