Here's a report about the Tohono O'odham (Papago) that I seem to recall was
done as part of the Indian Claims Commission research:

Hackenberg, Robert A.
1974 Aboriginal Land Use and Occupancy of the Papago Indians. In Papago
Indians I. American Indian Ethnohistory: Indians of the Southwest, edited by
David Agee Horr, pp. 23-308. Garland, New York.

If you google 'American Indian Ethnohistory David Agee Horr' you may find
other such reports.

Subject: Indian Claims Commission

Hello Histarchers,
does anyone have any recommendations on literature or other resources that
could help me learn more about the roles, experiences, and legacies of
archaeologists working on the mid-late 20th c. Indian Claims Commission? I
tried searching the histarch archive but saw no previous threads on the
topic.

best,
Terry
