Does anyone on the List know of any study that has looked at negative effects of OAV on open brood? Anecdotal reports imply that effects are either negligible or minor but acceptable, etc. We did find a recent poster from Georgia Tech looking at effects of OA on larvae that found that larval stages were more sensitive than adult bees with a LD50 of about 0.2%, but the OA was not applied by vaporization in that study. Any info or just observations would be much appreciated.
