I heat my wax in an old Rival crock pot which is dedicated for that job,
and like Janet, the brush and roller live in it. I just recently switched
to using a short nap mini roller instead of a paint brush and find I can
get a more even application as long as I use a light touch when starting. A
pound of wax will do almost 20 deeps. Wear old clothes and cover the
countertops with heavy paper because no matter how careful you are, beeswax
gets everywhere.
