So, to enter this discussion I need to say that my work in not “research” but i do testing on bees for gut  bacteria and other bacteria as well as for virus.  I use mass spectrometry proteomics for the data collection and sample analysis.  I do look at and see the gut bacteria. I do see the changes in bacteria both in quantity and in variety.  I have my perspective on whether it works or not or is beneficial to the bees.  If any of you would like to test your bees bacteria I could provide the testing for your experiments.
