Hang on - if it recrystallizes an inch from the apparatus, how does
the dose reach all over the hive? Are the crystals so tiny and light
that they just float in the air?

I have a slatted insert between the bottom board and the brood box,
and I wonder if it could be interfering with the OA vapour (or tiny
crystals!) going where they need to go...
