I strongly suspect that that is highly unlikely in the forseeable future.
Far more biologically likely will be a shift to bee stocks that are
naturally resistant.
Dr John Kefuss in France calls his colonies "mite black holes"--the mites
go in during late-season drift, but then disappear.
