Interesting topic and I wonder if the modified bacteria would drift from the pollinators needing protection to those targeted for killing. Also, might mean that the honey bee becomes a GMO.
I read a similar advertisement about an effort out of BC called PROBEEOTICS maybe it's the same folks.
