I have similar experience to Pete with one minor exception. I have drifts of Scilla siberica in the garden beds. In late April and early May the honeys are all over them.
The rest of the year, my bees are elsewhere. I see them occasionally on the Hawthorns
but not much else.
The Bumbles and cousins seem to pollinate everything else; cherries, apples, currants.
