I made wind boards after seeing them in the states. Same as a fume board 
but deeper ( l used 1/2 boxes) and with a 4" hole in the top in which 
you insert a plastic 90o bend. This bend you point towards the wind.

Here in Quebec there is a beekeeper that made a simple lifting device 
for lifting the supers enough to insert the clearer board, works with a 
cordless screwdriver
