Little chickadee birds at my barn have developed a taste for dead bees. First year I have seen this to such an extent. They will clean the snow of any dead honey bee bodies, and venture further to around the hive entrance. They fly to the brambles or tree with the bee body and eat the head and thorax, discarding the abdomen.-Pat BonoRochester NY
