I used 3/8 inch thick hex nut that just fits over the tube. It slips a little so it's not a permanent solution.  I'm done with this round of treatment so I'll come up with a different stop. A drill bit collar sounds like a good idea.

I'm rethinking the hole location I'm using for both safety and efficacy. There might be too much frame material in the way of the sublimation process so I may not be getting even distribution. I'll do some experimenting.
