That is an easy enough question to answer.  Simply inject or feed one of the RNA bases into the mite that is radio labeled.  If the BQCV or DWV RNA shows the label the virus is replicating in the mite.  If the label does not show the RNA comes from feeding on bee fat bodies.  Lots and lots of labs, both academic and industrial, have the appropriate government permits to carry out such experiments.
