To Paul Hosticka, amen, brother!

Paul also mentioned that there are more honey bee colonies under management now than at any other time in history. I wonder though if one accounted for summer and winter losses, and for colony size...and perhaps queen longevity....if we are truly ahead in terms of "1890's dollars"?
