Does a date ever arrive when the buyer of packages waits too long and
forfeits replacement expectations?
>Well certainly some of this question includes how long the package waited between being shook and then installed in the hive. If too long the syrup can may well have run out of syrup and the workers in the box are starving and likely will not do much no matter what you do. I would toss back the question to you... were the syrup can empty when you installed the packages?
>I am guessing you are buying these in some quantity and dead queens on installation should have resulted in a call immediately to the supplier. IMHO once something goes wrong there is not much you can do besides combine the survivors and more on.
>I think some supplier of packages give you 30 days to make a comment but suggest you take pictures if you find excess number of dead bees in the package upon arrival.
