I've not searched literature but wondered if anybody had insight on the
value of screening gut contents of partial die offs or warm season deadouts
for bacteria population patterns? (other than brood diseases)
Many of our club members are observing occasional hives that collect heaps
of dead bees under the entrance but the colonies are surviving. We might
expect something other than viral etiology in an intense closed warm system
of a single species??
Do Gram Stains work on bee gut bacteria? - DipQuick stains etc?
